Innovative loess sealing technology in Houcun Mine
Polyurethane is used for the sealing of water exploration and drainage holes in Houcun Mine, due to the many polyurethane sealing techniques and high cost. The mine started to use loess to seal holes in February of this year. After many field experiments, it successfully realized that some of the boreholes were sealed with loess, which met the sealing standards. The loess hole sealing operation is simple and convenient, and the cost of a single hole has dropped by 128.2 yuan compared with the previous one. As of the end of April, a total of 19358.2 yuan has been saved. The successful implementation of this process not only increased the hole sealing process of the mine, but also played a role in energy saving, consumption reduction, cost reduction and efficiency enhancement.
